On Happiness

Throughout our lives, we convince ourselves that it will be better after we get married, have a baby, and get a promotion. Then, we are frustrated that we don’t have enough time for ourselves and we have no work-life balance.

After that, we’re frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when we get a nicer car, when we’re able to go on a dream holiday, or when we retire.

The truth is there’s no better time to be happy than in this moment…

If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges. It’s best to admit this to yourself, and make the choice to be happy anyway. Choosing to be happy is the key to well… happiness!

Treasure every moment that you have, and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special. Remember, time waits for no one.

So, stop waiting…

for a new car or home

until your car or home is paid off

to get married or have kids

until you retire

There is no better time than right now to be happy.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

So, work like you don’t need money and love like you’ve never been hurt…

Money can buy pleasure… but not love;

You can buy a house… but not a home;

Money can buy medicines… but not health;

In the end, money and material items are nothing. We will all look back on our lives and measure it’s success by how happy we felt. A happy life is a successful one, ultimately, nothing else matters.
